Glaude GitHub

A small bubble at the edge of your Mac's screen. It shows what each Claude Code session is doing, and lets you reply or answer Claude's questions without going back to the terminal.

Free and open source under the MIT license. Needs macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon.

Then connect it from Claude Code:

/plugin install glaude --marketplace vaseemcholakkan123/Glaude

Stop checking terminals

Status at a glance
The bubble spins while Claude works, turns orange when Claude needs you, and shows a green check when it's done.
See what changed
When a turn finishes, a card shows Claude's last message and the files it changed, with line counts.
Reply from the panel
Type a reply and it goes to the session as a normal prompt. No switching windows.
Answer Claude's questions
When Claude asks you to pick an option, the question shows up in the panel. Choose one and Claude carries on.
Plan usage
Your 5-hour and weekly limits, and how full each session's context window is.
Jump to the right tab
⌃⌥J brings the session that needs you to the front, in its own tab in Ghostty, iTerm2 or Terminal.
Stays out of the way
Optionally, it tucks into the screen edge and only comes out when Claude actually needs you.
Stays on your Mac
It runs as a Claude Code mod and talks to the app over localhost. No account and no telemetry.

Set it up in a minute

  1. Download the app

Get the zip from the latest release and move Glaude to Applications. It isn't notarized yet, so macOS blocks it the first time. Clear the block, then open it:

    xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Glaude.app
  2. Install the plugin

At a Claude Code prompt, run:

    /plugin install glaude --marketplace vaseemcholakkan123/Glaude
  3. Start Claude Code

Run claude in any terminal. The bubble picks up the session right away.

Built in the open

Glaude is MIT-licensed and early. Feedback of any kind helps: what's confusing, what's missing, what broke.

Pull requests are welcome too. Good places to start are support for more terminals, Intel builds, and notarization.
